(DOVER, Del.) — A 49-year-old woman from Lewes has claimed the first of two $25,000 top prizes for the Instant Game WIN! IT! ALL! The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket from Daily Market in Lewes.
The woman started playing the Lottery in 2015, and says she usually purchases five Instant Game tickets whenever she’s in the mood for some fun. She followed the same routine during this particular visit, but after scratching her tickets, received some unexpected and exciting news. She had won $25,000 in an instant.
“My first reaction was total shock,” the woman said. The first person she told about her big win was a coworker.
When asked what she was planning to do with her winnings, the woman said she planned to use some over the holidays and put the rest in savings.

(DOVER, Del.) — A 52 year old woman from Wilmington purchased two Money Frenzy Instant Game tickets spur-of-the-moment on a trip to Windsor Market in Wilmington. The woman said, “One of my neighbors who lives in my building and is a friend asked me to go to the store for them. While I was there, I figured I’d get a ticket or two for myself.” One of those tickets ended up winning her one of the game’s $250,000 top prizes.
The woman, who started playing Delaware Lottery about two years ago, said this is her first big win. “It was a total shock because I wasn’t supposed to go to the store that day,” she said. Her daughter was the first to hear her good news.

(DOVER, Del.) — Raymond Perrone, a 59-year-old barber and musician from Selbyville, purchased a variety of Instant Game tickets while recently visiting Royal Farms #263 in Selbyville. Having some extra cash on hand, he decided to treat himself to a higher price-point game – a $25 Money Frenzy Instant Game ticket that ended up being a $10,000 winner.
Mr. Perrone, who started playing the Lottery 20 years ago, said he had previously won a $5,000 prize playing Instant Games before, but this was his biggest win yet.
“I just scratched the ticket off and knew I had a winner” said Perrone. “At first, I thought I had won $5,000, but then I saw the double symbol and called my wife. She started yelling, ‘It’s $10,000!’”

(DOVER, Del.) — A 61-year-old Newark man asked his son to fill out a few POWERBALL® playslips for the January 18th POWERBALL® drawing. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, went to Malin’s Market in Newark to play the numbers on the playslips but when he arrived, he realized he only brought enough money for three lines plays. The man purchased one ticket with three plays and returned the next day and unknowingly purchased an identical ticket by accidentally using the previous day’s playslip.
Incredibly, each ticket resulted in a $50,000 win by matching four numbers and the POWERBALL® for a combined win of $100,000 before taxes.
“When I returned to the store (Malin’s Market) after the drawing, I couldn’t believe I had won when I scanned the first ticket,” the man said. “A few hours later, when I scanned the second ticket and saw it had also won, I was shaking. (DOVER, Del.) — A 59-year-old Rehoboth woman purchased two Instant Game tickets while visiting Liquor Stop in Milford. One of those tickets was a CA$H IN Instant Game that ended up winning her one of the game’s $50,000 top prizes.
The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said she was shocked when she scratched the ticket and saw the big win. “I was so excited that I couldn’t even speak,” the woman said. “It was such an unbelievable feeling!”
When asked what she was planning to do with her winnings, the woman said she hasn’t decided yet, but looks forward to figuring it out.

(DOVER, Del.) — An 82-year-old Smyrna woman purchased two Money Frenzy Instant Game tickets from The Right Bottle in Smyrna and one of those tickets ended up being a $10,000 winning ticket.
The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said she was shocked when she realized she had won so much. “I couldn’t believe it,” the woman said. “I scratched the winning ticket in the parking lot (The Right Bottle) and when I realized I won, I went straight to Lottery Headquarters.”

(DOVER, Del.) — A 58-year-old Wilmington woman matched four numbers and the POWERBALL® on the December 25th POWERBALL® drawing, winning $50,000 before taxes.
The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, used birthdays to pick her numbers for the drawing while visiting Royal Farms#196 in Wilmington. After taxes, the woman will take home $38,000.
“I saw the winning numbers on the news the night of the drawing,” the woman said. “I was so shocked and excited when I realized how much I won!”

After taking a chance on two Money Frenzy Instant Game tickets while out running some errands, her feeling paid off when one ticket ended up being a $10,000 winner.

(DOVER, Del.) — In March 2019, a 53-year-old Hockessin man purchased two POWERBALL® tickets with five lines each from Shore Stop #295 in Long Neck. After picking his numbers and purchasing the tickets, the man put them in the center console of his car, where they remained until December.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, cleaned out his console and came across the POWERBALL® tickets. When he checked them on December 30, he was shocked to see he had matched four numbers and the POWERBALL® for the March 16 drawing—winning him $50,000 before taxes.
“It was an incredible surprise,” the man said when he learned he had won. “I can’t believe there was such a big winner in my car that whole time!” After taxes, the man will take home $38,000.
