Bridgeville Woman Wins $2,000,000 Playing MEGA MILLIONS®
Dover, DE — A 64-year-old retired woman from Bridgeville is celebrating an incredible $2,000,000 win from MEGA MILLIONS®. The winner matched five numbers in the January 31, 2025 drawing and purchased her winning ticket at Food Lion #2521 on Bridgeville Center Road.
A newer player, she began playing in November and usually purchases five tickets at a time. For this win, she used Quick Pick to select her numbers. She found out she won after checking the numbers on the Delaware Lottery Players Club app and was in complete disbelief when she saw the result. She immediately told her husband the exciting news.
She plans to use some of the money to buy new furniture and will save the rest for the future. This win was truly remarkable for her, and she is still in awe of the good fortune.

The winning numbers from the January 31, 2025 drawing were 09, 28, 48, 56 and 63. The MEGABALL® number was 02 and the MEGAPLIER® number was 2X.
MEGA MILLIONS® drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 PM EST. MEGA MILLIONS® costs $2 per game. MEGA MILLIONS® with Megaplier® costs $3 per game.
The woman claimed her prize from Lottery Headquarters on February 3, 2025.
