Temporary changes to MEGA® MILLIONS Advanced Play feature ahead of its April 5 updated game launch.
Dover, DE — In preparation for the April 5 launch of a new and improved MEGA MILLIONS® experience, players will only be able to purchase advanced draw tickets through the April 4 drawing.
This “step down” process for Advanced Play will begin on February 14. The number of draws available will decrease by one night until the new game enhancements take effect on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
Once the updated MEGA MILLIONS® game launches, players can resume purchasing advanced draw tickets up to 15 consecutive draws.
“We understand that our players enjoy the Advanced Play feature of MEGA MILLIONS®,” said Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “Once the game changes take effect on April 5, players will be able to purchase advanced draw MEGA MILLIONS® tickets for up to 15 consecutive draws.”
Since MEGA MILLIONS® launched in 2002, it has produced six winners of billion-dollar jackpots and more than 1,200 millionaires, an average of three new millionaires per week.
MEGA MILLIONS® drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 p.m.
