Townsend man wins $100K playing CASH PARTY
Dover, DE — A 58-year-old man from Townsend has claimed the top prize of $100,000 for Instant Game CASH PARTY. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket at Shore Stop #260 in Townsend.
The winner has been playing the Delaware Lottery since 2020, usually purchasing two tickets after work. After scratching this ticket, he handed it to the cashier who informed him that they couldn't cash it because the prize amount was too high. He immediately felt a rush of excitement and shared the news with his wife. They plan to use the money to pay down bills and treat themselves to a much-needed vacation.
