Newark woman wins $100K playing $100 GRAND BLOWOUT

Dover, DE — A 41-year-old woman from Newark has claimed the latest $100,000 top prize for the Instant Game $100 GRAND BLOWOUT. The winning ticket was purchased at Fitzharris Liquors in Wilmington.

The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said she has been playing the Delaware Lottery for three years. She enjoys the chance to win with Instant Games and usually purchases two tickets at a time. “When I scratched the ticket and saw I won, I was shocked,” the woman said. “I had never won a prize this big before.” She first shared the exciting news with her mother and daughter.

“We’re always so glad to hear how the winnings of an Instant Games ticket can bring joy into people’s lives. Especially during this time of the year!” Delaware Lottery Director, Helene Keeley commented.

When asked what she plans to do with her winnings, the woman said she plans to put the money towards paying her credit card bills.
