Middletown man wins $280,000 playing MULTI-WIN LOTTO®
Dover, DE — A 65-year-old retired man from Middletown, who wished to remain anonymous, recently purchased a MULTI-WIN LOTTO® ticket using Quick Pick while visiting Sunoco A-Plus on College Avenue in Newark. When he checked his ticket, the man was shocked to discover that he had matched all six numbers, winning him $280,000 before taxes.
A lifelong Delaware resident, the man said he has been playing the Delaware Lottery for 37 years. He enjoys playing the Delaware Lottery, and always uses Quick Pick to select his numbers. “I couldn’t believe it when I checked my ticket,” the man said. “I had my wife check my numbers to verify I had won.” This is his largest win to date.
“It’s great to see a longtime MULTI-WIN LOTTO® fan take home a six-figure top prize.” said Helene Keeley, Acting Director of the Delaware Lottery. “Congratulations to this lucky player.”
When asked what he intended to do with his winnings the man said he would use the money for house repairs and the put the rest towards savings.
