Bear woman claims Sports Pick $100,000 Parlay Card

Dover, DE — An 82-year-old retired woman from Bear, who wished to remain anonymous, recently purchased a single Sports Pick $100,000 Parlay Card ticket while visiting her local Express Food Market in Bear. The woman was excited to learn that she had correctly picked all 15 games (the only player to do so), making her the sole recipient of the $100,000 Parlay Card prize.

“The Five Dollar $100,000 Parlay Card is a very popular Sports Pick wager,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “And for this lucky player winning it is certainly a great way to kick-off the holiday season.”

“I’m just so happy,” said the woman. This is her biggest win since she began playing the Delaware Lottery a few years ago.

The woman summarized her reaction to winning $100,000 as, “very loud.” Her family was there to join in the celebration. When asked what she was plans to do with her winnings, the woman said she’ll put the money toward paying some bills.

The woman claimed her prize from Lottery Headquarters on December 7, 2021.
