Lewes man wins $40,000 playing HELLO MONEY!

Dover, DE — While visiting Wawa #871 in Rehoboth on Veterans Way, Marcus Willey purchased four HELLO MONEY! Instant Game tickets, and one of those tickets was one of the game’s $40,000 top prize winning tickets.

Mr. Willey, a 50-year-old tow truck driver from Lewes, said he enjoys playing the Lottery for fun and was very excited when he found out he had won. “It was amazing,” said Willey. “I had to do a double-take when I scratched the ticket, it was such an incredible win.”

“We’re very excited for Mr. Willey on his big win,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “What a great way to start the holiday season.”

When asked what he planned to do with his winnings, Mr. Willey said he plans to get a new motorcycle and put the rest away for a rainy day.

Mr. Willey purchased his winning ticket on Friday, November 26 and claimed his prize from Lottery Headquarters on November 29, 2021.

There are still two top prizes of $40,000 remaining for HELLO MONEY!
