Smyrna woman wins $15,000 playing ULTIMATE 7’S
Dover, DE — Brenda Taylor, a 63-year-old retired woman from Smyrna, recently purchased six Instant Game tickets while visiting Gas & Go in Smyrna. One of those tickets was a $5 ULTIMATE 7’S ticket, which much to her surprise, ended up winning her the game’s final $15,000 top prize.
“It’s always great to see our players win large cash prizes,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “Congratulations to Ms. Taylor on her exciting win!”
Ms. Taylor has been playing the Delaware Lottery for some extra fun and relaxation since 2012. She doesn’t have a particular strategy for selecting her tickets, but usually purchases somewhere between three and six at a time.
Ms. Taylor has won multiple prizes playing PLAY 3® and PLAY 4® Draw Games in the past, and was delighted to continue her lucky streak with this $15,000 top prize Instant Game win.
While this may be the final top prize remaining for ULTIMATE 7’S, the Delaware Lottery has just introduced CASH BACK—a new $5 price point Instant Game with six top prizes of $15,000 currently available. One $15,000 top prize remains for $5 CA$H PLU$, and $5 20X THE WIN still has two $20,000 top prizes remaining. Ms. Taylor claimed her prize from Lottery Headquarters on September 14, 2021.
