Newark woman wins $100,000 playing BONUS MONEY
Dover, DE — A 53-year-old retired woman from Newark has claimed the first $100,000 top prize for the recently introduced Instant Game BONUS MONEY. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket from the BP gas station in University Plaza, Newark.
While originally from Pennsylvania, the woman said she has been playing the Delaware Lottery for about eight years. She usually purchases one Instant Game ticket at a time whenever she’s in the mood for some fun.
The woman has won prizes as large as $7,000 playing the Delaware Lottery in the past, but this is her biggest win to date. She said her first reaction after scanning the ticket and realizing she won was, “Wow!”
“Congratulations to this lucky Delaware resident on their big win,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “Two $100,000 top prizes still remain for the $20 Instant Game, which means there’s plenty of BONUS MONEY excitement ahead!”
The Delaware Lottery also currently offers the $20 Instant Game MEGA CASH with one $100,000 top prize currently available, along with two $20 Instant Games with $150,000 top prizes remaining (FANTASTIC MONEY MANIA and THE MONEY GAME).
