Harrington player wins highest online jackpot to date, $473,932
Dover, DE — On Sunday, May 17th, a recently registered online player with Harrington Raceway & Casino’s iGaming site received a surprise while playing her favorite online casino games on her mobile device. While playing Santa’s Super Slot (a Christmas themed slot game), she wagered $3.75, clicked the spin button, and won the progressive jackpot of $473,932.18.
Santa’s Super Slot jackpot was last hit on Christmas day 2018 for over $200,000. The jackpot is awarded randomly, and no matching symbols are required. The size of the bet and number of pay lines determines the chances of winning the jackpot.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a healthcare worker who first learned about the online lottery game from a co-worker. After finishing a long shift, she’ll play Santa’s Super Slot as a stress reliever when she gets home.
When asked what she was planning to do with her winnings, the woman said she will be using her recent windfall to spoil her grandchildren and pay some bills.
“It’s exciting to see such a large jackpot win on one of the Delaware Lottery’s three mobile iGaming sites,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “During these challenging times, it’s especially great to learn that the winner is a health care worker.”
Santa’s Super Slot was added to the NEW online casino platforms in May of 2018: one of six new jackpot games added. Five of these new jackpot games contribute to the same jackpot, including Pirates Millions, Irish Riches, Santa’s Super Slot, Steampunk Nation and Saved by the Bells.
