Smyrna woman gets a surprise while shopping
Dover, DE — Susan A. Brown, a retired mother of two from Smyrna, says she normally buys a couple Delaware Lottery tickets whenever the feeling hits her. After taking a chance on two Money Frenzy Instant Game tickets while out running some errands, her feeling paid off when one ticket ended up being a $10,000 winner.
Mrs. Brown says she was in the car when she revealed her biggest win yet. She was shocked, but with one more stop on her list, she zipped the winning ticket up tight in her purse and hurried through the store.
She enjoys playing the Delaware Lottery because it’s fun and there's always a chance to win big.
Mrs. Brown purchased her winning ticket at Acme #2386 in Smyrna. When asked what she was planning to do with her winnings, Mrs. Brown said she plans to put it into savings.
Mrs. Brown claimed her prize from Lottery Headquarters on December 30, 2019.
