MILLSBORO MAN STARTS HIS DAY WITH A $15,000 WIN
Dover, DE — For over a year, Anthony Cichocki has been purchasing Instant Game Tickets from Back Bay Tobacco in Longneck. On a visit in late 2018, he decided to purchase five $15,000 BONUS PLAY tickets, and one of them ended up being a $15,000 winner.
“I was scratching (Instant Game tickets) while I was eating breakfast…I almost choked on my cereal,” Cichocki said about his win. “I didn’t believe it. I was dumbfounded. I had to double check the ticket to make sure I won.”
“This is our last top prize winner from the $15,000 BONUS PLAY Instant Game,” said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. “We’re excited to see the continued popularity of the two-sided Instant Game tickets.”
When asked what he was planning to do with his winnings, Mr. Cichocki said, “I’m remodeling my house, so this came at a good time.”
The man claimed his prize from Lottery Headquarters on January 11, 2019.
