A $10,000 Win For A Millsboro Business Owner

(DOVER, Del.) — Katrina Brown is a busy woman. The 25-year-old Millsboro woman and her fiancée run two businesses and have nine kids, but she finds time to play the Delaware Lottery once or twice a month.

Ms. Brown said she plays when she is feeling lucky. That lucky feeling led to a big win when Ms. Brown decided to purchase a few $250 GRAND Instant Game tickets from the Long Neck Shell in Millsboro. One of those tickets ended up being a $10,000 winner.

“I’m impatient so I scratched them as soon as I got to the car,” Brown said. “I knew I had won right away because I always scratch the numbers first and then the prize at the end.”

When asked what she planned on doing with the winnings, Brown, who was joined by her fiancée at Lottery Headquarters said, “We own two businesses so we’ll probably invest to expand them.”

The woman claimed her prize at Lottery Headquarters on April 27, 2018.
