Delaware Man Follows His Dream and Wins $10,000
(DOVER, Del.) — James Woolbert’s dream just came true. Literally. The day after the 52-year-old dreamt of winning the lottery, Mr. Woolbert bought a $250,000 CASH Instant Game at Back Bay Tobacco on Bay Farm Road between Long Neck and Oak Orchard that won him $10,000.
“I scratched it in the store and was stunned when I realized I won,” Woolbert said.
Woolbert moved to Delaware 10 years ago and has enjoyed playing the $10, $20, and $25 Instant Games ever since in the hopes of winning. He has won in the past, but never anything this much.
“The first person I told was my wife,” said Woolbert. “We plan on using the winnings to pay off Christmas and save the rest.”
Woolbert claimed his prize at Lottery Headquarters on Wednesday, January 3.
