Loyal Player Wins Top MULTI-WIN LOTTO Prize
(Dover, DE) - A 72-year-old man from Pike Creek, Delaware, who has been playing the lottery since its start in 1975, took home the top MULTI-WIN LOTTO prize of $170,000. The man purchased the winning ticket at Kirkwood Books and Tobacco.
“I've won the lottery before but never thought I'd win the top prize,” said the winner, who celebrated with his wife.
The retired General Motors employee claimed his prize at Lottery Headquarters in Dover on August 5. He told Lottery Officials he plans to use the money to pay his dog's vet bills and possibly buy a new car. He added that he will continue to play MULTI-WIN LOTTO, his favorite Lottery game
MULTI-WIN-LOTTO is a $2 Delaware-only game drawn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:57 p.m.
