Palms Casino Resort Instant Game Winners Selected
Four Winners Score Trip to The Palms

Dover, DE -- Doris Hallett, 34, of Wilmington, Del., has never been to Las Vegas, but that is about to change, as she was one of four grand-prize winners of the Delaware Lottery's Palms Casino Resort Instant Game.

The trip, which includes airfare, lodging and access to many of the amenities at The Palms such as the spa, is valued at $4,700 and allows Hallett to bring one guest. However, Hallett decided to recruit more friends to maximize her experience. Now, she said she has a total of eight people who plan to make the trip next October.

Not only is she excited about VIP treatment she will receive at The Palms, but she is already researching shows that she wants to see.

"I don't know if I'll ever get to go again," she said. "And now I'm going to feel like a celebrity."

She said she and her friends will take full advantage of the VIP treatment, the nightlife and all that Las Vegas has to offer just to make the spa package that is included in her prize that much more special.

"After we hit the town, then we'll get rejuvenated with massages," she joked.

Cubler and the other winners entered to win by mailing in their non-winning tickets to the Lottery.

In addition to Hallett, three other winners were also selected - Linda Richardson of Wilmington, Deborah Johnson of Chester, Pa., and Peter Morel of Cochranville, Pa.

Richardson's win was extra special as it marked her second Palms grand-prize win. A previous entry of hers was also chosen in a drawing that took place in September. The lucky lady joked that the two wins will work out well as it allows her to bring both of her daughters without one feeling neglected.

All the winners entered the drawing by mailing in their non-winning tickets to the Lottery or via the Internet by logging onto www.delottery.com and following the instructions to enter.
