February 03, 2006TWO POWERBALL® TICKETS SOLD IN DELAWARE YIELD $1 MILLION - Jackpot now up to $180 million
Dover, DE -- Two Delaware winners,
one upstate and one downstate, won a combined $1 million by
matching five numbers during Wednesday's POWERBALL drawing.
The two winners have yet to come forward to claim their prizes.
A player who purchased a ticket at the Super G in Eden Square,
Bear, matched five numbers won $800,000, while a ticket bought
at Bargain Bill's in Laurel resulted in a $200,000 win. The
Bear winner received an extra $600,000 because he or she purchased
the prize-multiplying Power Play option for an extra $1.
With no grand prizewinner, the total POWERBALL jackpot has
now reached $180 million. With such a large jackpot for POWERBALL,
Delaware Lottery Officials remind players to play responsibly.
Wayne Lemons, director, urges players not to spend more than
they can afford. "I'd like to remind players that it
only takes one ticket to win," said Lemons. Included
in all Lottery printed and promotional material is a play

problem, call the Delaware Gambling Helpline at 1-888-850-8888.
