A PAIR OF LUCKY SUSSEX COUNTY WINNERS CLAIM
THEIR INSTANT GAME PRIZES
Dover, DE -- A rainy day couldn't
dampen the mood of two lucky Instant Game winners who claimed
their separate prizes from the Lottery office yesterday afternoon.
The first winner, a 22-year-old female from Lewes, presented
her winning 10 TIMES THE MONEY Instant Game ticket to Lottery
Officials to receive her $20,000 prize. The winner was followed
by a second Instant Game winner, a 46-year-old man from Georgetown,
who claimed his $10,000 HOLD 'EM POKER prize on the day of
his 21st wedding anniversary. Both winners, who wish to remain
anonymous, won the top prize amount for their respective tickets.
The Lewes resident purchased her winning 10 TIMES THE MONEY
Instant Game ticket from High's of Baltimore in Rehoboth Beach
on Monday, December 26, 2005. The $10 ticket was the only
one she purchased that day and she was excited to learn of
her win. Though not a regular Lottery player before her big
win, she had a great first winning experience. The second
winner purchased his winning HOLD 'EM POKER Instant Game ticket
from Back Bay Tobacco in Millsboro earlier the same morning.
The $3 ticket was one of two tickets that he purchased and
he was thrilled to learn he had won the top prize amount.
The man told Lottery Officials that he is a regular Lottery
player, but has never won an amount of this size. Both winners
told Lottery Officials they plan to continue playing in the
future.
