July 09, 2002NEW INSTANT GAME OFFERS CHANCE TO APPEAR ON TV GAME SHOW
DOVER, DE - POWERBALL® INSTANT
MILLIONAIRE TV GAME SHOW, the newest $3 Instant Game from the
Delaware Lottery, offers players a chance to go to Las Vegas and
appear on the POWERBALL Instant Millionaire TV Game Show. On-air
contestants compete for prizes ranging from $1,000 to $1 million
while selected at-home players win at least $100 and could win
as much as $10,000 during the show.
For a chance to be selected as either an on-air or at-home contestant
on the weekly televised game show, players must fill out the back
of a non-winning POWERBALL INSTANT MILLIONAIRE TV GAME SHOW Instant

The first drawing to select contestants will be held in August.
One on-air and six at-home contestants will be selected to represent
the Delaware Lottery during each show. The first show airs on
Saturday, October 5. Delaware Lottery officials recommend checking
local TV listings, or delottery.com, for air times and stations.
Players selected to appear on the POWERBALL Instant Millionaire
TV Game Show will receive an all expense paid trip for two to
Las Vegas, including a four-day, three-night stay at the Venetian
Resort Hotel and Casino and $750 spending money. During the half-hour
show, contestants representing participating lotteries across
the country will be randomly selected to play games of chance.
Contestants will be eliminated throughout the show; one finalist
will have a chance to win a grand prize of $1 million.
The POWERBALL INSTANT MILLIONAIRE TV GAME SHOW Instant Game also
features a top cash prize worth $12,000, plus nine other cash
prize levels ranging from $3 to $120. There are 12 chances to
win cash prizes on each ticket. The Instant Game offers cash 63,702
prizes with a value of $415,400. Average odds of winning a cash
prize are 1 in 3.77, based on the sale of all 240,000 game tickets
printed.
