$100,000 POWERBALL PRIZE SET TO EXPIRE

DOVER, DE -A $100,000 POWERBALL® prize remains unclaimed from the May 12, 2001 drawing. The prize will expire this month on its one-year anniversary.

Lottery records indicate the ticket was sold at the 7-11 on Basin Road in New Castle. Winning numbers for the drawing were 11, 16, 28, 29 and 36 for the white numbers and 21 for the red POWERBALL number. Lottery Officials encourage players to double-check old tickets for these numbers. The winning ticket holder should fill out the back of the ticket and bring it to the Delaware Lottery Office, McKee Business Park, 1575 McKee Road, Suite 102, Dover before 4:00 p.m. on May 10 for verification and payment.

As of May 1, two additional $100,000 POWERBALL prizes-from the August 18, 2001 and August 25, 2001 drawings-remain unclaimed, while one $258,000 LOTTO prize remains unclaimed from the August 27, 2001 drawing. All POWERBALL, LOTTO, PLAY 3, PLAY 4 and Rolldown® prizes must be claimed within one year from the date of the drawing. Delaware Lottery Retailers will pay out prizes worth $599 or less. Prizes worth $600 to $5,000 must be claimed at any Claim Center or the Delaware Lottery Office, and prizes worth $5,001 or more must be claimed at the Delaware Lottery Office. Unclaimed prizes are contributed to the state's General Fund. Players may check tickets at delottery.com or call the Player Information Line at 1-800-338-6200 (in Delaware) or 1-302-736-1436 (from out of state).
