Sports Pick $140,000 Football Parlay Card prize claimed in Dover

Dover, DE — A 55-year-old woman from Cecil County, Maryland, recently purchased a $100 Sports Pick Parlay Card while visiting Delaware Park in Wilmington. Much to her surprise, that ticket ended up winning her $140,000 after she was the only player to correctly pick all 11 games.

“I was watching the weather and where the games were going to be played and trusted my instincts,” the woman said. “I bet $100 when I usually only do $20.” The woman goes to Delaware every week to place her Sports Pick bets. “When I checked my ticket, I held on to my lucky elephant and could not believe what I saw, I started shaking.” The woman made sure to check with Delaware Park to confirm her win.

After the reality of her $140,000 win settled in, the woman said she shared the good news with her finance right away. When asked what she was planning to do with her winnings, the woman said she plans to first donate $5,000 to St. Jude’s and save the rest to pay bills and help her family. “I’m very thankful,” the woman added.
